Marsha is British (born and raised) but has switched to speaking in an American/translatlantic twang since moving Stateside to pursue her career. Although I could be wrong in this instance. Admittedly I haven’t had a chance to watch this interview yet, but having heard her speak in a previous interview several months ago, I’m guessing that her English accent has yet to find it’s way home. Anyway in this interview, the former Floetry star talks about working with Nas and Dre Dre.

Good news for Dizzee! Rapper Dizzee Rascal (real name Dylan Mills) has escaped charges after he was arrested for becoming embroiled in a road rage incident involving a baseball bat. Mills was detained earlier this month after chasing another driver with the weapon following an argument in Orpington Kent, England. The 24-year-old returned to Bromley police station in Kent on Tuesday, where he admitted to being guilty of a public order offence and accepted an official caution. I’m not really feeling this. Bashy’s lyrical content here is conscious and thought provoking, but the messy production and the speeded up background vocals (soooo 2004) that you hear throughout only serve as a distraction. Bashy’s new album Bashy.com is out in stores now. Your thoughts please…….

Former Mis-Teeq group member/’Strictly Come Dancing’ winner 2007 Alesha Dixon, has released her second single from the album ‘The Alesha Show’, and I will say that this track is a major improvemnet from the last single ‘The Boy Does Nothing’. The beat sounds familiar (I cannot place where I’ve heard it before), but ‘Breathe Slow’ is catchy and most importantly ‘radio friendly’. Remember the UK’s Lady Sovereign who 2/3 years ago was being touted as the next big thing to come from this side of the pond? She signed to Universal/Def Jam and expectations were high when she dropped her debut album ‘Public Warning’. Then as predicted it all turned sour and she disappeared off the scene. But now she is back with the single ‘I Got You Dancing’, and is set to drop her sophomore album ‘Jigsaw’ soon. I can’t wait….. Your thoughts please…..

‘Cash In My Pocket’ is the new single release from UK Grime/Rap emcee Wiley. The single will officially drop on December 1st and his forthcoming album ‘See Clear Now’ will drop on December 8th. I have never been a Wiley fan, but I have to give this track a thumbs up. I really like it. Wiley, I do believe you have a hit on your hands here! Your thoughts please….
