The Evening Standard reports that actor Adam Deacon has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
Deacon was due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court today after being charged with affray and possession of a long bladed sword, in an incident that took place near his home in Bethnal Green earlier this year.
The Kidulthood star did not appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court this morning because he was too unwell after being sectioned under the Mental Health Act, the hearing was told.
The hearing was adjourned to 30 April.
Deacon will also stand trial at Hammersmith Magistrates Court on May 11th, accused of harrassing actor/director Noel Clarke.

People like you contributed to this young man’s downfall. Sickening and sly race bullying and ganging up towards a vulnerable young Turkish man.
I am black by the way so you can’t pull that card on me.
No Joe. I don’t think so. Sickening slay race bullying? ganging up? Are you serious? *confused face*. Take that clap trap elsewhere sir. Oh and yes I figured you were black. lol
Sickening and sly race bullying? Please stop making me laugh, Deacon made bad choices of his own volition & chose not to learn from them. Don’t start spewing nonsense, stop drinking the Kool-Aid & serve your stan-like delusions elsewhere.
