They should stick to writing about African stars at the moment. I wish most African media would do so. Folks here don’t know us unless you are Mandela the freedom fighter. When I was growing up, Artists out of Africa would not sell out concerts in my country. It don’t matter how much radio play you got. If you didn’t have the African sound, you were doomed. They wouldn’t even buy such a magazine unless there was a local star. But hey, I guess we are getting more exposed to the outside world.
