Set in South-East London, eight part drama Youngers follows a group of friends coping with teenage life and working to launch a music career.
Youngers tells the story of Yemi an honour student and aspiring producer, and his best friend Jay, who enters a local music competition after failing his GCSEs.
The first episode airs on March 20th at 7.30pm on E4
This response basically sums up my feelings on this up and coming drama. But I will tune in on the 20th.

Who is in charge of commissions at Channel 4? Surely they have more than one trick up their sleeve.
So glad I grew up in the era of No Problem, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, The Cosby Show, A Different World, Desmond’s and The Real McCoy to name a few.
You’d think being young and Black in 2013 was all about surviving in the endz, living on a council estate and the only way to make it in life is to spit bars going by these damn tv shows and straight to DVD movies they churn out now.
