The Voice reports that a black gay police officer has won a case of racial and sexual orientation discrimination against Scotland Yard.
Det Con Kevin Maxwell, 33, who works in the Met Police’s counter terrorism command, reportedly told the tribunal he was exposed to racist and homophobic comments from other officers and seniors during duty and training sessions, which he found to be an offensive environment to work in.
“Such practices and behaviour have no place in a modern police service,” Simon Cuthbert, a solicitor who represented Maxwell on his case, told the tribunal.
He continued: “This welcome judgment represents a positive step in rooting out any remaining prejudice in the force.” Continue reading…
Scotland Yard must be VEX! Hahahahahahahaha. They plan on launching an internal investigation which will be supervised by those CLOWNS over at the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC). Yeah once again the police will be investigating the police. Jokers.

I don’t think he acted “brand new” . The problem here was to prove both variants of discrimination have taken place. I would think he probably dealt with both at the exact same time.something that extremly hard to prove since both the company and most whites will work overtime to refute the allegations.If you don’t tape them, they will lie through their teeth.They will try to use ANYTHING as a leverage against you just to get in your head.
