……………..
The Urban Music Seminar that took place in the early-mid noughties was a brilliant event and now almost eight years after a particularly ‘eventful’ seminar spread over two days it’s now resurfaced with a new name and has found a new home.
It should be an interesting and informative day.

No disrespect, but isn’t this event enforcing the stereotype that all black people are good for is entertainment purposes?
I think that there is still this belief that sports and entertainment is the only way forward for us and that the youngsters are only interested in careers that involve holding a mic, mixing it up with artists, running and kicking a ball.
I am lOoking to attend this event.. But I disagree with the above.. When you read the panels it does not point to only black people and the panels are to give you an insight into other areas of the industry.. I think its a shame that when people put on a free event there are those who want to pull it down and be negative.. I for one am grateful for these events
Good luck Ethan and enjoy the event.
Give me events involving getting my people into Engineering, Architecture, Design, Technology and other things along these lines and I will not complain. I refuse to be a stereotypical act and take part in this country’s Roman bread and circus stage shows. Negroes should wise up and clock that they are being type casted for the same nonsense time and time again.
