UK NEWS: BLACK BRITISH FOOTBALLERS JOIN ‘SHOW RACISM THE RED CARD’ TO LOBBY FOR FUNDING

Sol Campbell, Paul Canoville and Shaka Hislop

The Voice Newspaper reports that a group of Black British footballers joined the Show Racism The Red Card initiative at the Houses of Parliament recently to lobby MPs, after funding for the anti-fascist organisation recently came to an end.

The group included Chelsea’s first black player Paul Canoville, former goalkeeper Shaka Hislop, and Sol Campbell.

Check out former England player and man of mystery Sol’s interview with The Voice where he discusses racism in football.  Click HERE to read.

……

I wish them the best of luck with this. However I bet that the majority in the group fighting to get continued funding for this organisation are former players. No current premiership Black British player (apart from Sol who is close to retiring and probably feels he now has nothing to lose) will want to get involved with this campaign because most are a bunch of delusional cowards, who are just interested in running around with WAG-type chicks on their arm and who stand for nothing. They also won’t want to rock the boat for themselves or do anything that will jeopardise their standing in the game, their popularity and those lucrative sponsorship deals.

It’s a shame really because if they are seen to be publicly supporting this cause then it could make a huge difference.

  1. That interview is really sad. Just doing your job and having to put up with such utter foolishness is very ridiculous. I tell you…

  2. …preaches the brothers who are happily married to white women.
