New group Odd Future performed their new single ‘Sandwiches’ on the Jimmy Fallon show and it was shall we say (long pause) DIFFERENT!
They sort of remind me of the group Oynx during their heyday in the early 1990s. They are just grimey and a ball of energy.

Tyler’s ‘Yonkers’ video is really good and they seem true to them and have no interst in watering down their sound. But judging from their fanbase they’re not getting a lot of interest from black americans (if you believe the blogs), which surprises me.
It shouldn’t surprise you.
Our People are spoon fed nonsense daily on the airwaves. Anything original and creative tends to get pushed to the wayside.
I’d bet that if this crew got a big enough push behind them that they could do big numbers. But alas, unless someone’s sucking someone else off, it probably ain’t gonna happen.
Sad, but true.
I dont know, they dont look like they’ll play by ‘the rules’ so breaking out commercially might not happen. Soulja boy they are not lol
