Well, I actually read the comics, I’m a bit so-so especially with the inevitable changes like the lack of the actual original X-Men…err…what the heck is Angel Salvadore doing there?
Although X1 & X2 worked with the changes, X3 failed big time – how they tried to cram every mutant possible, then not use them at all & even got a few of their names wrong in the credits…the usual wrongly aged characters and don’t get me started on the Pheonix as a split personality, plus it just wasn’t that good.
Anyhoo, will probably give it a chance ’cause of McAvoy and the fact that it’s a superhero film. Maybe…I should take my fangirl glasses off.
I’m not moved by this trailer at all. I’ll see it regardless. I’m a fan of the X-Men franchise, but this just ain’t doing it for me.
