WHITNEY HOUSTON POSTPONES UK CONCERTS OVER ILL HEALTH
Via BBC News Singer Whitney Houston has postponed three concerts at the start of her UK tour due to illness. Houston, 46, was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection by doctors in Paris, where she had already cancelled a concert. She had been due on stage in Manchester on Thursday and Friday this week but the gigs have been rescheduled for 16 and 17 June. Her Glasgow show on Sunday has been moved to 1 May. Via Variety Film group Icon, which is owned by Len Blavatnik’s U.S.-based company Access Industries, has inked an exclusive first-look deal with thesp-scribe-helmer-producer Noel Clarke, winner of the 2009 BAFTA Orange Rising Star Award, and his shingle Unstoppable Ent.
