Lol has there ever been a street dance film with a black female lead #jusaskin ?
Sounds like Step Up. Everyone & their my mother is going 3D. BTW, there’s going to be a Step Up 3D movie.
this could be watchable, but I’m not gonna hold my breath.
I saw the trailer for this last week and thought of you. Co-sign with 20sumthingsteph – both me and the dude saw the opening shot and thought – they’re ignoring black people again, this film is gonna get slated! The producers are obviously trying to capitalise the UK’s new found “love of dance”.
Argh! They release this but not “Good Hair”, “Why Did I Get Married” etc!
Adaobi,
lmao! @ “everyone and their mother is going 3d ” . For sure. But they will have to stop that 3-d nonsense at one point.I watched the stereoscopic version of the movie. half of the dancers were “off axis” most times. The conversion was done poorly.
The movie looks alright . It looks more like Billy elliott turned street dancing.I will check it out. Just because I am loving the british accent.
