Plastic Beach is released on Monday 8th March but will have its first full airplay on Xfm on Tuesday 2nd March at 12pm, in an exclusive show presented by John Kennedy, joined by Gorillaz’ very own Murdoc Niccals.
Gorillaz band members Murdoc Nicalls, 2D, Noodle and Russel are set to repeat their phenomenal success with the release of Plastic Beach. The album features an exciting mix of collaborations with other artists, including first single from the album Stylo with Bobby Womack and Mos Def. Their self-titled debut album sold over 7 million copies and earned them a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as The Most Successful Virtual Band. Their second studio album Demon Days was released in 2005, earned them 5 Grammy Award Nominations.
