Rumour has it that rapper Busta Rhymes is in dire financial straits and will perform at any event that will have him.

I was a huge Busta fan. I loved the fun, wild and animated Busta. But when he signed to Aftermath / teamed up with 50 Cent, cut off his hair, bulked up and began to favour a bull frog, became vicious, changed his style of music and went from being a leader to becoming a follower, his career just went downhill.

500 ain’t bad if you’re performing in a club, it is bad if you’re playing a soccer stadium that holds 28,000. Unfortunately that was the case for Busta Rhymes at the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium in Port Elizabeth last Saturday night . After showing up 3 hours late to a woefully under packed house, Busta got on the mic and directed the crowd [if you can call it that] to head over to a much smaller venue, few of whom took him up on his offer.

Busta Rhymes 1995-2002 would have sold out that venue.
