UK NEWS: BBC RADIO HOST REPLACED IN ‘RACISM’ ROW

BBC Radio Bristol presenter Sam Mason Via BBC News and The Telegraph A BBC radio presenter has been replaced over allegedly racist comments made during an off-air phone conversation. Sam Mason, who took over the BBC Radio Bristol weekday afternoon programme six weeks ago, was suspended on Friday. SOUTH AFRICAN SINGER MIRIAM MAKEBA DIES

South African singing legend Miriam Makeba has died aged 76, after being taken ill in Italy. She had just taken part in a concert near the southern town of Caserta, the Ansa news agency reported. The concert was on behalf of Roberto Saviano, the author of an expose of the Camorra mafia whose life has subsequently been threatened. Ms Makeba appeared on Paul Simon’s Graceland tour in 1987 and in 1992 had a leading role in the film Sarafina! Ansa said she []

R.KELLY’S NEPHEWS ACCUSED OF TRYING TO ROB BARBERSHOP

The young nephews of singer R. Kelly are in police custody after authorities claimed they were involved in a robbery at a Chicago barbershop. Brayel Kelly landed in a Chicago medical center after he was shot during the attempted robbery, while his brother Brandon was arrested after serving as an alleged “lookout.” Their father Carey Kelly, infamously known for speaking out against his brother during his child pornography trial, said that his son was shot twice, with one bullet piercing his liver. Admittedly when I listened to the first couple of seconds of this track I hated it. But then when I heard Jim Jones’ voice my opinion changed.  ‘Pop Champagne’ is a club banger and I love it. My Jim Jim also directed the video.  This man is so talented. He is definitely the new Hype Williams, and before long will make the leap in to directing successful feature films. TV show ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2008’ will be back on UK screens soon, and I have just watched the promotional teaser. For those who are not so familiar with the show, ‘I’m A Celeb’ features a group of Z-list celebrities who spend two weeks in the Australian “jungle”.
