R. Kelly’s 16 year-old nephew has been charged with attempted murder stemming from a failed robbery that took place earlier this month right outside of Chicago.

According to Chicago’s Sun-Times, Brayel Kelly was recently charged as an adult and also faces an additional count of attemped armed robbery and aggravated discharge of a firearm.

Reports claim the teenager finished receiving a haircut at Calumet City’s Marvelous Cuts Barber Shop on November 6 around noon and proceeded to demand the owner’s jewelry and cash by placing the items into a plastic bag. As Kelly allegedly offered the bag, the owner grabbed his own pistol which led to an exchange in gun fire as the nephew left the shop attaining bullet wounds.

Oh dear… more trouble and strife within the Kelly family.
