There have been loads of rappers in the past who have gone and tried something different and I’ve loved e.g. Snoop Dogg ‘Sexual Seduction’. But this… this is just pretentious bull.
I guarentee that 5 years from now Kanye himself will admit that Love Lockdown was a mistake, and that he should have never of attempted to sing.
I didn’t mean you in particular. Just the Hip Hop community as a whole. So many people have taken shots at Kanye for this song yet they embrace Wayne and his singing self immediately. I guess it could just be because its Kanye, controversy surrounds everything he does so people just HAVE to take shots.
I just don’t know when people got so close-minded in Hip Hop, but I guess everyone has a different outlook on everything. It just seems to me like people should cut him some slack. He’s had a rough year and has still come out on top.

good point TY, I actually like the beat, the video is very Kanye, being different I guess, but I don’t understand why he didn’t just get John Legend or Estelle to sing what he wrote,???…maybe he is vulnerable right now and spending too much time in the studio alone doesn’t help!
i think i would have liked this song a lot better if i hadn’t seen kanye perform it at the VMA’s. HE CAN’T SING!!! if i knew that he could perform the song as well as his recording, i would have an entirely different opinion of it. you should not perform something you cannot recreate without the help of computers. thats what a real artist is.
