Unlike the negative track, ‘You’ll Get Wrapped’ featuring Lethal B and Ghetto, which was subsequently thrown under my ugly file, ‘These Streets’ approaches the subject matter of gun crime and the escalating violence on Britain’s streets, in a constructive and sensible fashion.
The video/track is part of a new weapons awareness campaign, and the artists featured are part of the Leeds based Hip Hop collective, Invizible Circle.
Anti-Gun campaigner Pat Regan who sadly is no longer with us, appears towards the end of this video.
Rest In Peace Pat.

hi, this is monks from the invizible circle, just responding. its great to see that someone has posted this up here, it is a more than needed message and needs to be spread. this song was a part of two projects one was an album inspired by pat regan and marcus roberts along with krs one’s self destruction song released in 1989, which was from the stop the violence movement in america. and the other was a film project from access moving image who were running a weapons awareness project from the host media centre, leeds.
The song ‘these streets’ its self will be a leading single for the uk release of the compilation album. The video will accompany the release in the near future with the permission of the access moving image
much peace and love,
monks
