sorry to break it to you …. yo mtv raps was bought up by puma.. the actual rights to the name!!!
so it may have to do with promoting some puma material…
or was it nike…?

Rah!…Puma/Nike own the rights to the name Yo MTV Raps?? Come to think of it, Puma have been doing some things with old school artists of late – Doug E. Fresh and Grandmaster Flash, so yeah maybe it is to do with selling us some trainers!
