The mayor of London’s senior aide Lee Jasper has resigned.
Ken Livingstone’s race adviser blamed the “racist nature of a relentless media campaign” for his decision.
Mr Jasper had been at the centre of allegations over the misuse of public funds and was due before the London Assembly on the matter on Wednesday.

Jasper’s mistake was aligning himself with foolish individuals who would later help to bring on his down fall, thanks to their suspect shenanigans (e.g. The Brixton Base fiasco and weekend trips away to Nigeria).

What’s so funny about that. I bet 6 months down the line Lee has his own column in the Nation.. or writes a one off piece.
No one wants to see anyones downfall, but he was never going to win against the media vultures. It’s a shame he was let down by greedy people.
