UK PR ANTICS: SOUL SINGER MICA PARIS SHOWS OFF BOYFRIEND/MANAGER IN HELLO MAGAZINE
Singer Mica Paris and boyfriend/manager Prince Frederick Alexander Von Preussen
British Soul singer Mica Paris (43) appears in this week’s Hello Magazine with her new beau Prince Frederick Alexander Von Preussen (28) who according to the Daily Mail is 346th in line to the British throne.
Prince Frederick is also Mica’s manager and the couple have apparently been together for four years.
In the interview with Hello Mica gushed:
‘there’s no one else I’d rather marry than Alex because he’s flipping amazing.’
When asked about the difference in their “backgrounds” Prince Frederick replied:
‘It just isn’t something my family make a fuss about so it wasn’t a big deal to me.

‘STUNT’ OF THE DAY: WOMAN IN LINE FOR £50K JOB AFTER TWITTER PLEA

When I first heard about this I thought it was a random individual who had been struggling financially and had been unemployed for sometime. But it turns out the “random” lives in one of the wealthiest and affluent areas in London (Notting Hill), has links to the media industry and is dating Harry Cole (who she supposedly met on Twitter) a journalist and contributing editor to popular political magazine The Spectator.
A woman who found her boyfriend on Twitter is now a candidate for a £50,000-a-year job after tweeting for work.
Sarah Douglas put out a 140-character plea to possible employers after she struggled to find a job through conventional applications.
Ms Douglas, 23, from Notting Hill, was amazed by the response when she was re-tweeted hundreds of times and her name started trending.
She said: “I was getting a bit depressed with my search for work and put something on Twitter on the spur of the moment. I am taken aback by the response but I guess if you can find a boyfriend on Twitter there is no reason why you can’t find a job on Twitter, too.”
Her message read: “Dear Twitter, I am looking for a job. I’ve got experience as a PA, editorial assistant, picture researcher & junior PR. Can anyone help?”
She said she would take any position as long as she was earning £18,000 a year or more, adding: “Basically happy to do absolutely anything and I am very good at telling people you’re in a meeting so you don’t have to talk to them.”

Whitney Houston’s former sister-in-law Leolah Brown appeared on the Dr Drew show yesterday and accused singer/Whitney’s alleged boyfriend Ray-J (the brother of singer Brandy Norwood) of supplying the star with drugs.

I wondered how long it would be before Leolah started yapping again. She was the one responsible for exposing (via The National Enquirer) Whitney’s excessive drug use to world.
But there is something so desperate and suspect about Ray-J that it wouldn’t surprise me if these accusations turned out to be true.
UK NEWS: POLICE HUNT MAN SUSPECTED OF INFECTING LOVERS WITH HIV

POLICE are hunting a man suspected of knowingly infecting his lover with HIV.
Jermaine Scott, 27, is wanted after a mum-of-two told officers he had given her the virus.
She says the pair had unprotected sex even though he knew that he was infected. She fears other women could also be at risk.
Scott is originally from Jamaica but is believed to have been living in the UK for up to 10 years.
He has links to Merseyside, Wolverhampton, Huddersfield and London.
Anyone who knowingly infects another person with HIV can be charged with GBH.

Several days ago I posted news on the dubious campaign set up by singer Alicia Keys to help raise awareness for World AIDS Day. Click HERE to read if you missed it.
Punchbowl Blog reports that tomorrow (1 December) Hollywood will die digitally to raise awareness for World AIDS Day. A-list celebrities who have Twitter accounts will ”sacrifice” yes that’s right “SACRIFICE” tweeting until $1 million is raised to buy their digital lives back.
I bet they spent thousands of dollars on this off-key campaign. They should have donated the money to an AIDS charity where it would have done some good.
All I can do right now is laugh at the high-profile/extremely wealthy celebrities “sacrificing their digital lives”. Why not just donate $1 million dollars each and put an end to this charade.

PRODUCER SOLAR SPEAKS OUT OVER LETTER BACKLASH

AllHiphop.com reports that producer Solar has addressed the mounting speculation over the controversial / suspect letter (Click HERE to read) that was sent out this morning along with a press release, which announced the death of the legendary rapper Guru (real name Keith Elam).
Guru lost his long fight against cancer yesterday (April 19th).
Solar tweeted,
“Guru made this statement from his own mouth and anybody saying different is insane with Hate!”
It was totally inappropriate of him to issue a letter of this nature along with the shocking news of Guru’s death. Solar in my opinion is a nasty piece of work with an agenda set.
I still believe that there is something suspect about that letter.
Rest In Peace Guru.

Yes according to that tabloid rag The Sun model, TV presenter and I quote “TV rap girl” Donatella Panayiotou, 26, was the main target when gunmen walked in to The Grime Daily 1st anniversary party this past weekend and sprayed the place with bullets.

A MODEL and TV presenter narrowly cheated death when a machine-gun nut shot three revellers at a rap gig she organised.
“It” girl Donatella Panayiotou, 26, was near the DJ booth when the maniac opened fire.
Donatella – thought to be the target – was next to a 23-year-old man who was blasted four times in the chest and buttocks.
A woman, 21, and another man, 24, were also hit. All three victims were last night serious but stable in hospital.
Specialist Radio 1 DJs and UK grime music acts were among 600 clubbers who ran for cover at a warehouse owned by Donatella’s dad in Colindale, North West London, at about 4am on Sunday.
A witness said: “The gunman was aiming for Donatella. I’m amazed she wasn’t killed.
“He just pulled out his gun and started firing at the DJ booth. People were almost trampling on each other to get out. Women were screaming.” Donatella was found hiding in a cupboard.
Donatella, whose dad Angelo is a millionaire club boss, was in ITV documentary Young, Posh And Loaded. She has appeared on MTV, GMTV and in ITV’s Loose Women.
Pals believe the shooting was revenge for an act of “disrespect”.
Donatella runs an influential online guide to the urban music scene, and friends claim an act she refused to feature was behind the shooting. Continue Reading….

I’m having a hard time believing that those scum bags were targeting Donatella. It sounds like her publicist ( and Donatella) contacted The Sun / The Metro and to gain some publicity cooked up this story around the incident so that the spotlight shines on Donatella.
Forget about the victims just put some shine on the “TV rap girl”.

The Associated Press reports that a Haitian judge has recommended that 10 American missionaries detained in Haiti be released.
The missionaries were arrested after attempting to cross the border with 33 children without the appropriate documentation.
