Premier says  this incident happened while Biggie was in the studio working on his debut album Ready To Die in 1995. But I think he has his dates wrong because Ready To Die was released in 1994, so Biggie would have been working on it throughout 1993.

Anyway I was a fan of Biggie and I am also a fan of Premier’s past work, but the thought of the two of them sharing and receiving fellatio from desperate sad young women just made my stomach turn this morning. But at least this distasteful story went down well with the dressed down industry types sitting in room, who laughed like this was the funniest story they had heard in years.

Snoop Lion rocking a french manicure

The revelation that Snoop Dogg turned fake Rastafarian used to be a pimp does not surprise me at all. When this married man and father of three started dabbling in the world of porn and making films on his property (against his wife Shante’s wishes), then moved on to hanging out with the biggest pimp of them all Hugh Hefner and then ran around town with that dirty sack of a reptile Don “Magic” Juan’ ( a former pimp who revels in his murky past), I knew there was something dark and even more sinister going on beneath the surface too.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone the 41 year old reveals:

I put an organisation together. I did a Playboy tour, and I had a bus follow me with ten bitches on it.  I could fire a bitch, fu*k a bitch, get a  new ho: It was my program. City to city, titty to titty, hotel room to hotel  room, athlete to athlete, entertainer to entertainer.

“If I’m in a city where the Denver  Broncos or the Nuggets play, I get a couple of they players to come hang out,  pick and choose, and whichever one you like comes with a number. A lot of  athletes bought pu**y from me.’

‘I’d act like I’d take the  money from the  bitch, but I’d let her have it. It was never about the  money; it was about the  fascination of being a pimp.

‘As a kid I dreamed of being a pimp, I  dreamed of having cars and clothes and bitches to match. I said, “Fu*k it –  I’m finna do it.”

Is this really something to boast about?

Instead of encouraging those women to leave that depressing lifestyle behind he chose to exploit them further, all because he wanted to fulfil some sick pimp fantasy. And I am willing to bet that a few of those prostitutes were probably underage.

Snoop has slowly morphed in to a disgusting and creepy middle-aged fool.

I posted news about this film in 2011 when there was a casting call for Somali actors to play the pirates.  And now the ’Captain Phillips’ story is finally here in all it’s “Hollywood glory”.

Hmmmm…… I can already see where this is likely to go but I will try to reserve judgement until I have actually seen the film.

After months of planning and preparation, the first Caribbean TV series for many years (and the the first ever series from Barbados) comes to the UK.

As a first on British television, this production has an all-Caribbean cast, an all-Caribbean crew and was written, directed and produced by a Caribbean team.

The whole family – mum, dad, grandma, granddad and children – will enjoy this wholesome series!  And many people will enjoy the opportunity to relax at home, switch on the television from the comfort of their favourite armchair and watch engaging entertainment from the Caribbean with genuine accents and themes.

“Keeping Up With The Joneses” will be broadcast on Sky-209 and Virgin-828 from Monday 13 May at 2:30pm with a new episode each weekday (2:30pm and 11pm) until 31 May.
