REGGAE LEGEND BUNNY WAILER ACCUSES SNOOP DOG OF ‘OUTRIGHT FRAUDULENT USE OF RASTAFARI’S SYMBOLISM’

Finally someone from the Reggae/Rastafarian fraternity has publicly called out rapper Snoop Dogg and his ridiculous ”Snoop Lion” antics.
TMZ reports that the legendary Bunny Wailer (an original member of Bob Marley and the Wailers) is furious with the rapper.
Bunny is upset about the documentary “Reincarnated” which documents Snoop’s immersion in to the Rastafarian culture while recording his first reggae album in Jamaica last year. He accuses Snoop of the ”outright fraudulent use of the Rastafarian community’s personalities and symbolism” and has failed to meet “contractual, moral and verbal commitments.”
An organisation called the Ethio-Africa Diaspora Union Millennium Council has also sent a seven page demand letter to Snoop.
In the docs they claim to have made it clear to Snoop that “smoking weed and loving Bob Marley and reggae music is not what defines the Rastafari Indigenous Culture!”
Bottom line … they want Snoop to stop using the name “Lion” … pay up the “financial and moral support” they claim he committed, and issue a public apology.If Snoop refuses — FIRE WILL BUN FI HIM!!

As somebody of Jamaican parentage, let’s face it, Jamaicans sell out their own culture to anybody buying. Bunny just mad because Snoop hasn’t paid up. I swear the world is laughing after JA but jamaicans and their descendants are deliberately not trying to see it. It is a crying shame how follow fashion and beggy and “so damn glad that people admire our culture” that it has made us blind to people’s motive. Anyway, mi done talk.
