R.Kelly has been forced to slash the selling price of his lavish mansion.

It has been reported that the singer had the house built back in 1997 but in 1999 used it as collateral to borrow $3.5million.

However after missing his mortgage payments for more than a year and facing a foreclosure lawsuit, he has put the house on the market for just $1.595 million in an attempt to force a quick sale.

R. Kelly has made millions of dollars songwriting, producing etc so I don’t quite understand why he needed to borrow $3.5 million and why he has been missing his mortgage payments.

It wasn’t that long ago when Kelly could be seen turning up to events dripping in diamonds. The money spent on gaudy pieces of jewellery could have gone towards paying off the mortgage.

I wonder what the $3.5 million was for…..

A model has been jailed for five years for hiding a Mac 10 sub-machinegun used in an unsolved murder in a baby’s nightdress.

The Mac 10 “spray and pray” weapon was used to shoot dead 24-year-old Larry Malone, as he sat on the sofa at his aunt’s home in West Norwood.

Mr Malone was hit seven times in September 2009. Shevonne Legister, 21, her boyfriend Lemuel Robinson and fellow gang member Andrew Cross were cleared of murdering Mr Malone. But they admitted and were convicted of lesser charges after a trial at the Old Bailey.

The gun was wrapped in a baby’s nightdress, hidden in a rucksack and passed to Legister after the killing. Continue Reading….

X-Factor 2010 finalist Cher Lloyd has teamed up with Mic Righteous, Dot Rotten and Ghetts on her new single Dub On The Track.

I remember watching annoying Miss Lloyd on the X-factor and saying that as soon as the show was over her label would look to team her up with a “TEAM UK” act and look folks they managed to find three artists willing to collaborate with her.  All I can do is laugh.

I just hope Dot, Righteous and Ghetts each received enough money to buy a car and to pay the rent.

Anyway Dub On The Track just sounds awful. It just doesn’t work.

Jump Off TV personality DJ Snips revealed via twitter today that he had been told by Whisky Mist club management that if he wanted to host an event at the popular night spot that ‘black people were not welcome‘.

Angry Snips then went on to tweet

50/60 years ago there was this policy in the UK - ‘NO BLACKS, NO IRISH, NO DOGS’. And it looks like us blacks are still not welcome in some quarters.

Oh dear what a sorry state of affairs and yet another wake up call folks!  None of this surprises me though.  West End night clubs have been operating this door policy for YEARS!

As for those footballers and rappers who crave acceptance, the bouncers could be standing at the door wearing KKK outfits and burning crosses and those grinning clowns would still stroll in, party the night away with wannabe WAGS and groupies, and spend hundreds of pounds on booze. They stand for nothing.

I don’t tend to frequent these over-hyped establishments – never have. Back in the day me and my friends used to rave in night clubs located in the wastelands of East London (lol), parts of South London, and at house parties. Those were the days.

Anyway as far as I am concerned those “bouji” West End night clubs can spin on it. You won’t catch me outside begging to enter their establishments. They won’t be getting a penny of my hard earned cash!

Current rap music is not real, the music’s made by somebody else and these guys are rapping about a car or a girl. I didn’t hear any self-deprecating English humour in there. I think irony is dead as far as that goes. These guys are just trying to make money.

UK hip hop artists would sell their mama for a Rolex. It’s all crap. I’m talking about Tinie Tempah, Lethal Bizzle. Dizzee Rascal, when I first heard his song, I thought there was something wrong with him. I didn’t get it and I grew up on hip hop.

Paul Simon is from Queens, he probably came from a rougher neighbourhood than Lethal Bizzle did. Go to South Bronx in 1978, that’s tough. People are shooting at other people, like random drive-bys in Los Angeles. NWA comes out, those guys came from the street. I see kids, Chipmunk and stuff like that, walking around like they think they own the world. I don’t hate the game, I understand what it is. To me, I might be an old man now, but it’s kind of fake. Rap was never supposed to be commercial. Now it’s not hip hop, it’s ‘hip-pop’.
