I am a marketer and it gets on my nerves that people really don’t know how to use Twitter. This Derry geezer is not alone. You don’t ask people to follow you on Twitter. In person is fine, but online you have to create content that is worth following or engage with 10 influential people and continuously respond to what they are tweeting about, if they respond, they may or may not follow you but this will definitely build your credibility amongst their followers etc.
Twitter lesson over, sorry but it gets me, a lot of people are calling themselves social media gurus, online marketing experts and don’t know jack – Rant over!
It’s gonna take me a few hours to unfold my body from the extreme cringing I’m doing right now…
