MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS 2011 – THE WINNERS
The MTV Video Music Awards 2011 took place last night in Los Angeles, and I would post footage of the best/worst performances but VIACOM (owners of MTV, VH1 and BET) are beasts when it comes to ripping down any of their award ceremony footage that have been posted online. So I am not going to waste anytime posting footage because they will disappear within seconds.

“I came to the conclusion that she may not be as comfortable here (in the US) because I was seeing a different person. She was like Princess Diana when she would walk out in England, and I accepted the fact that people didn’t know her here, but I think it did have an effect on her..

Simon Cowell talks about Cheryl Cole’s flop short stint as a judge on US X-Factor and went on to confirm that he offered her the chance to return to the UK X Factor, but negotiations fell apart and they haven’t spoken since.
“She missed the deadline which meant she’d lost the UK show.
“I asked [her manager] Will.i.am, ‘How does she feel about it?’ He said, ‘It’s none of your concern.’
“I never heard from her… I think her silence was quite damning.”

I realise that I have probably jumped on this a little late (commercial was released in June) but it hasn’t (well not to my knowledge) aired on British television yet and I only just came across it today.
Anyway check out the “new” Revlon commercial starring Pharrell with actress Jessica Biel (music by Pharrell).

It was announced this morning that singer Jason Derulo will co-host this year’s MOBO Awards, which will take place in Glasgow (Scotland) on October 5th.
