UK Hip Hop veteran Rodney P reminded me of a music video I watched late last year that just left me shaking my head and thinking that young black British males are truly lost. They are seen running around committing violent acts and behaving like savage beasts in this video and none of them actually questioned what they were doing during filming. Nobody actually said ‘hold up a minute! What the hell am I doing here??? This is some off-key stereotypical BULLS**T!
But I guess ‘man was just happy to be in a video innit’.
Anyway the music video in question is rapper Professor Green’s Jungle featuring Britain’s answer to Beanie Man (side-eye) Maverick Sabre, and when Rodney came across it for the first time last night he wasn’t best pleased.

Baby Blue has taken it back to the late 80s Hip Hop era with this video, and the single has a slight old school feel to it also.
Play is well produced and you can tell that some thought went in to the making of the single (i.e. It doesn’t sound like it was all put together in five minutes). It’s not bad.
Confirmed to play at the newly refurbished 3,000 capacity club are Live Fest acts include self-professed star in the hood TINCHY STRYDER, who is currently promoting his single ‘Spaceship’ ft. Dappy from N-DUBZ, Grime sensation TEMPA T, fellow award-winning grime collective ROLL DEEP and a DJ set from Radio 1′s ZANE LOWE.

People seem to be losing their minds over Wretch 32 and his new single Don’t Go featuring singer Josh Kumra. I just listened to it for the first time today and it will probably do well in the charts. This is a “love rap/song” and Wretch looks all “sad” and ”vulnerable” in the video (fantastic acting), so this should melt the hearts of all the teenage girls out there.
Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

It was announced today that ITN News presenter Charlene White has become a patron of Bowel Cancer UK.
Charlene said,
“Becoming a Patron for the charity means a lot to me. I lost my mother to bowel cancer when I was 21, after quite a few years of illness – so I am passionate about the issues and the charity. So many people are still so unaware of the illness despite someone dying every 30 minutes of bowel cancer.” That’s why more people need to learn to spot the signs early – as it’s highly treatable. I know we’re constantly told that we should be eating healthily – but simple changes to your diet and lifestyle CAN save your life. And it’s important that we all understand that…before it’s too late”.
Earlier this year it was announced that Beyonce’s father Matthew Knowles would no longer be managing her career, and this could explain why.
TMZ reports that Live Nation has accused Matthew of “stealing from Beyonce on her most recent tour or otherwise taken funds that [he] was not entitled to.”
Matthew denies any wrong doing but Beyonce’s law firm conducted an audit on Beyonce’s finances, which allegedly told a different story, and he was promptly fired.
Comedian Steve Coogan and Greg Dyke ripped in to former News Of The World investigative journalist Paul McMullan the other night on Newsnight, over the now defunct newspaper’s involvement in the phone hacking scandal.
