UK NEWS: CHOICE FM ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF NEW BREAKFAST SHOW AND NEW HOSTS

Choice, London’s number one urban station, is excited to announce the launch of its brand-new Breakfast Show with two of the UK’s freshest presenting talents Kojo and Max.

The duo will be waking-up London from Monday 18th April with the biggest and best urban music and the hottest celebrity news and interviews.
An accomplished TV and radio presenter, Kojo is also one of the most renowned names to emerge from the black comedy circuit. His MTV-aired shows including The Young Gods of Comedy and Kojo’s Comedy Funhouse have garnered rave reviews and he has sold out the Hackney Empire twice with his solo performances. Max’s career in broadcast, which has included being one of the main presenters for MTV’s flagship show TRL, has seen her interviewing some of the biggest stars in the entertainment world such as Rihanna, Beyonce, and Justin Timberlake.
Tune in to Choice Breakfast with Kojo and Max, every weekday morning from 6-9am, starting on Monday 18th April.
From 16th April, Martin Jay will host the weekend breakfast show on Saturdays and Sundays from 6-9am and his Caribbean Affair show continues on Sundays from 9-11pm.
Choice Breakfast Show presenter Kojo said: “I’m really proud to take Choice into a new chapter with my lovely co-host Max and I can’t wait to get started. Let the fun begin! I have know Max for years and as far as I’m concerned she is and will be un rivaled by any female in the radio world. We are not here to just be urban presenters, we are aiming to take Choice Fm forward and to showcase the new wave of artists from around the world and the UK scene. I want to send a massive shout out to Martin Jay who is someone I respect highly and someone who helped me a lot when I first joined the station back in October. I take great pride in everything I do and will enjoy waking up London with Max.”
Choice Breakfast Show presenter Max added: “It’s so exciting to be a part of the Choice team. The station is edgy and cool – great for young London. I’m looking forward to working with Kojo and taking things to the next level.”

Even though i didn’t really care for her on BBC 1xtra…nice to see her get a new job. Question….is she Black?? She always came off as a Black girl on 1xtra….so can anyone tell me?? Oh Janice do you know what Rampage who use to be on 1xtra is doing.. I really liked Treble T….he was mad cool….
