Idris Elba has received a Best Actor Golden Globe nomination for his role in the hit BBC crime drama Luther.
In response to the news the actor told USA Today,
“I’m flabbergasted and in shock. But at least I’m on set and I can channel that emotion back into my work.”
Congratulations Idris.
Actor Hugh Jackman almost lost an eye after a stunt on the Oprah show in Australia went wrong.
The Hollywood star decided to make a dramatic entrance by sliding on to the stage from the SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE on a 100m (330ft) zip wire as a crowd of 6,000 looked on.
But unfortunately Hugh failed to apply the brakes in time and slammed head first into a lighting rig cutting his cheek and injuring his eye.

The Australian presenters, the reporter at the scene and the studio crew who can be heard laughing in the background kills me everytime.

Cherri V, Ruff Diamonds, A Dot, Envy, Lioness, Baby Blue, RoXXXan, Mz Bratt and Lady Leshurr are featured on the remix version of the ‘Game Over’ track which features Tinchy Stryder, Devlin, Prof Green, Example, Chipmunk, Giggs, Tinie Tempah.
When I first heard that there were plans to release a remix version of the track featuring just female artists I thought ‘is this really necessary?’. But having just heard the remix I think it sounds pretty good, and they have bags more charisma than Tinchy and co.
I am happy to see RoXXXan on this track. I remember watching her perform at a talent show in 2006 (I was a judge), which she later went on to win. The girl was a beast!

PIZZA Hut was accused of racism last week after asking a group of black professional footballers to pay in advance for their meals.
The demand was made as a table of white youngsters seated nearby were allowed to settle up after eating.
Five AFC Bournemouth players were stunned when a duty manager told them to pay up front because of “the way you lot look”.
When they refused, staff claimed they were being “disruptive” and called the police.
Officers arrived at the restaurant but took no action after the players, including £2,000-a-week first-team regulars Anton Robinson, Liam Feeney and Marvin Bartley, agreed to leave.

And as for Pizza Hut insisting that there was “no racism”, who the HELL do they think they are kidding?
The biggest joke of all is that Pizza Hut’s latest TV commercial features a black family and some have noticed that since this incident happened they have been airing the commercial a lot more often now. hahahahahahahaha!

A “source” has told tabloid rag The Sun that Black Eyed Peas front man Will.iam has offered X-Factor reject Cher Lloyd a recording contract.
Will shared the stage with the over-rated Cher on Saturday night’s final of the show, where the pair performed Where Is The Love and I Got A Feeling. Will who is best buddies with the “nation’s sweetheart” /FRAUD Cheryl Cole obviously did this as a favour to her and seems to spend the majority of his time up her bottom. The man is an idiot.
Anyway according to a “source”,
“He vowed to help her (Cher) grow and develop as a recording artist. Will also spoke to her family, promising them he’ll try to make her a star.”

A doll shop in Australia has withdrawn a female golliwog soft toy from its prominent window display to avoid offending the Oprah Winfrey roadshow Down Under.
The store in Melbourne, Victoria, removed the ‘Mamee’ washer woman dolls following a visit by Oprah’s production company ahead of a personal appearance by the popular 56-year-old U.S. talk show host.
Golliwogs are deeply offensive because of their perceived links to slavery and racism.
But the Dafel Dolls and Bears shop in Block Arcade – where 110 of Oprah’s guests will attend a cocktail party tonight – will continue to display other golliwogs which do not cast a black figure in such an overtly servile image.
The store owner declined to comment because she had signed a confidentiality agreement with Harpo productions, but confirmed a meeting had taken place.
