Top black and ethnic personalities within entertainment, film, fashion television and arts gathered to celebrate the red carpet VIP launch of the 2^nd annual BEFFTA(Black Entertainment, Film, Fashion, Television and Arts) awards several weeks ago.

Among the special guests were former Five Star group member Stedman, Fame Academy star Audley Anderson, Junior Giscombe, radio personality Sherry Dixon and Lord Paul Johnson.

I never post music video teasers, but today I decided to post this teaser from Eminem featuring Lil Wayne for the new single No Love.

I laughed out loud when I heard Em’s latest mainstream rap mush for the first time today.  He  sorry correction producer JUST BLAZE (even worse) sampled Haddaway’s cheesy early 90s Euro dance hit single  What Is Love.

Wow.. these Stateside artists and producers are really starting to embrace that Poppy Euro dance sound… almost 20 years too late.

A New Jersey college student has leapt to his death a day after authorities said two students secretly filmed him having sex with a man and broadcast it over the internet.

Tyler Clementi’s wallet was found on the George Washington Bridge on 22 September after two witnesses saw someone jump from the structure, authorities told the AP news agency.

Mr Clementi’s body has been found.

Two students have been charged with illegally filming the 18-year-old.

The footage was allegedly taken using a web camera in Mr Clementi’s dorm room at Rutgers University and broadcast live over the internet.

The two charged with filming and broadcasting the images are Mr Clementi’s room-mate, Dharun Ravi, and Molly Wei.

Vaughan Bailey

If the media reports are to be believed, recently crowned Mr England Vaughan Bailey used to sleep under park benches but now he rubs shoulders with the stars.

Top model Bailey, 23, is staying in five-star hotels, drinking in swanky bars and rubbing shoulders with the famous. 

But as a teenager he relied on handouts from friends and counted himself lucky to have a roof over his head. 

Since dazzling the judges with his good looks, he has being bombarded with offers from model scouts and TV companies. 

‘Six years ago I spent my weekends begging for a floor or sofa to kip on,’ said Mr Bailey, of Walsall. 

‘Last weekend I was sitting in the VIP area of a club sipping cocktails next to Katie Price.’ 

Mr Bailey was left homeless at 16 after his parents’ divorce. He spent his days hanging around Birmingham’s basketball courts and joined a team, earning a scholarship to Lindenwood University in St Louis, Missouri. Continue Reading…
