Today an enthusiastic individual typed in the the words “World Premiere” before going on to announce the release of Bashy’s latest video for his new single Fantasy.
I almost choked on my bread stick.
Anyway judging by Bashy’s latest offering it sounds as if he’s going down the rap/techno dance route, which seems to be all the rage now. If you want to infiltrate the mainstream chart feature a sample from a popular 90s dance track, rap over the beat and just pray the mainstream Gods smile down on you.
Good luck Bashy.
The video features former Eastenders actress turned singer Preeya Kalidas and parts of it was shot in Mexico.
People seem to be going crazy over this video. E.g. “It’s AMAZING” Erm… the video was filmed on a beach and features the sea and women. What’s so amazing about that?

Actor Sean Penn questions Wyclef’s motives and accused the star of being a “non-presence” during relief efforts, adding “I want to see someone who is really, really willing to sacrifice for their country and not just someone who I personally saw with a vulgar entourage of vehicles that demonstrated a wealth in Haiti that – in context, I felt a very obscene demonstration,”
In response Wyclef said, “I just want Sean Penn to fully understand I am a Haitian, born in Haiti and I’ve been coming to my country ever since (I was) a child,”.
Meanwhile former Fugees star Pras has announced that he will NOT be endorsing Wyclef’s bid to become president of Haiti.
He said in a statement, “I endorse Michael Martell as the next president of Haiti because he is the most competent candidate for the job.
When I tuned in to ITV News this evening and watched Wyclef being crowd surfed to the stage, so that he could give his first campaign speech I cringed. People obviously thought they were at a concert.
