Singer Alesha Dixon is back with her new single Drummer Boy, which will probably get decent air play and do well in the chart.
I have never rated Alesha as an artist and never will. Her music just does nothing for me. But she seems like a nice woman.
The video – The director obviously spent the weeks leading up to this video shoot watching Beyonce videos and the film Drumline starring Nick Cannon.

I saw nothing original in this video and it seems as though the stylists have really looked to those 2 artists for ‘inspiration’ in Alicia’s look.
It’s the best thing from her I’ve heard, considering the rest were not all that great. It’ll get a lot of airplay, but that’s all I can say on that….

Not bad you can see the copying of other artist’s ideas it is a shame that people aren’t a little more original. Less AutoTune and more bass and drum on the lyric side. I like the drummers can’t go wrong with them!

I found Mildred1′s comment more entertaining than the video,.. anyway, maybe she hasn’t got any real control creatively, she may not have to much say on such matters, it maybe the record company who decide how to present her in terms of marketing, these people are often to blame for poor wardrobes and less than original concepts for videos, they usually go for whats worked -Recently, lol.
Yeah sounds like the sort of song you’d expect from Rihanna. Apart from that, I think the song itself is good. Not what I was expecting from Alesha but as a pop song, it could go Top Ten.
i think this video is amazing – defo one of her best! The song is proper wicked too and it sounds like it can be a massive hit in the US. im gunna preorder on itunes!!
