Linford you really need to talk to your niece….
Via The Daily MailLinford Christie’s niece is being sought by police after she was convicted in her absence of failing to provide a breath specimen.

First Rachel is crowned the first ever black Miss England, then the title was conveniently snatched away from her after a brawl in a nightclub over her Z-list TV boyfriend.
It all went downhill after she lost the Miss England crown.
Oh and if any of you tuned in to the start of Big Brother 11 several weeks ago, Rachel could be seen standing with hundreds of other “hopeful’s” desperate to become a contestant on this years show.
I just sat there thinking has it really come to this????? What are you doing???
Anyway Rachel failed to make it in to the Big Brother house.
I hope she fired her agent.
“Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs” exhibition is now featuring at the Discovery Times Square Exposition in New York, and rapper Kanye West decided to show and pose next to King Tut’s tomb wearing his Egyptian inspired jewellery, which according to Rhymes With Snitch cost $300,000.00.
He had to draw attention to himself somehow…
Somebody should just snatch that foolishness off his neck and beat some sense in to his head.
BBC News reports that The National Portrait Gallery has launched a campaign to stop the export of the earliest known British oil painting of a freed slave.
A spokesperson from the gallery says they need to raise £100,000 to save the 1733 portrait of Gambian Ayuba Suleiman Diallo, by artist William Hoare.
Ayuba Suleiman Diallo
Diallo came from a prosperous family of religious clerics, was captured as a slave in Africa at the age of 29 and was transported to work on a plantation in America.
After he was imprisoned for trying to escape, he met lawyer Thomas Bluett who, impressed by Diallo’s intellect and education, took him to England.
Diallo was received with great enthusiasm by aristocrats and scholars.
“Diallo was received with great enthusiasm by aristocrats and scholars.”
Hmmmm.. yes… I bet he was…
I feel a deep sadness when I look at the portrait of Ayuba. He probably never even got the chance to see his family again. And even though he was a freed slave I don’t believe it was all a bed of roses when he was brought to England.
Anyway I hope this campaign turns out to be a successful one.
