This article has given me my first big laugh of the day.
New York Times Magazine contributor Lynn Hirschberg has written an article about British “artist” M.I.A (real name Maya Arulpragasam), which has hilariously forced the grossly over-rated star to retaliate via her Twitter account, by childishly posting Hirschberg’s mobile number to her adoring followers.
I doubt Hirschberg gives a toss Maya.

I remember back over soon previous posts regarding MIA, her videos, performances etc… and Jan’s wording SEEMED abit harsh, at the time I was OK but ||I think shes [M.I.A.] cool, each to thier own or what ever,… but I know understand why Janice’s words appeared Harsh,… but I see and undersatnd much better now inregards to MIA, I mean nobdoy likes a friut cake who keeps on telling ppl they are made from sponge lol
if she’s really from bethenal green, she should have said that, instead of lying about being down with the tigers and what they stand for etc etc… lying to herself and everyone that will give her thier time KMT!!!!

I think Janice was spot on with the analysis myself personally. I’ve just listened to around 5 tunes of hers, what a load of crap. Talk about dumbing down the population. Simpleton beats with nursery style rhyming is so not my cup of tea. I feel the girl is trying to take the pee out of me. I dread to think how a person would turn out after listening to her albums, might drop a person’s IQ by about 50 points. Has this chick ever done a tune that was decent?
