UK NEWS: COMEDIANS LENNY HENRY AND DAWN FRENCH SPLIT
It’s the end of an era folks!
British comedians Lenny Henry and Dawn French are to separate after 25 years of marriage, their spokesman said on Tuesday.
The couple made their decision to split up last October and have since been “living together in constant, open and honest discussion,” spokesman Neil Reading said in a statement.
“The separation is entirely amicable and they fully intend to maintain their close friendship,” it said. “Their priority is to commit to the future joint parenting of their daughter.”
I have to admit that this news surprised me. I never thought that this couple would split up.
But then again Lenny has been accused of having affairs in the past, and Dawn always stood by him.
Anyway I wonder how long it will be before we see Lenny out and about with a younger model (preferable blonde) on his arm?

UK NEWS: FILM GROUP SIGNS DEAL WITH NOEL CLARKE

Film group Icon, which is owned by Len Blavatnik’s U.S.-based company Access Industries, has inked an exclusive first-look deal with thesp-scribe-helmer-producer Noel Clarke, winner of the 2009 BAFTA Orange Rising Star Award, and his shingle Unstoppable Ent.
The pact gives Icon the option to finance, sell and distribute everything Unstoppable produces, which is anticipated to be one or two films a year in the $5 million – $10 million range. Clarke will either pen, helm, produce or star in all pics.
As part of the pact, Icon will take a small equity stake in Unstoppable. Continue Reading…
