Anyway as well as publishing photographs of a “traumatized”, ”sad and devastated” Cheryl (Click HERE to view the hilarity), the News Of The World has managed to bag an interview with Ashley’s ‘long lost’ father Ron Callender, who seems to have just crawled out of the woodwork wearing an England team shirt.
The man wasn’t even at Ashley and Cheryl’s sham of a wedding. I remember looking at the wedding photographs in OK Magazine and Ron/that entire side of Ashley’s family were M.I.A (missing in action)!
Ron apparently left Ashley’s mother (Sue) to bring him up alone when the Chelsea player was an infant, and up until this point he has NEVER been seen or mentioned!
Anyway Ron (as expected) has jumped on the Cheryl Cole sympathy train, and has more or less thrown his son under a bus.

A headteacher has unlawfully fined the parents of pupils caught smoking in their school playground.
Margaret Peacock, head of Elliot School in Putney, wrongly claimed powers under the 2007 smoking ban to issue the £50 penalties.
The school is now under investigation after Wandsworth local education authority admitted it acted outside its powers and demanded the school refund the fines, in what is thought to be the first case of its kind.
Ms Peacock sent letters to the parents demanding the £50 and warned them that if they did not pay, the school’s governors would face a £2,500 fine. In the letter, she wrote: “The law, which came into force on 1 July 2007, prohibits smoking on public property.
“Your child was part of a group of girls seen on CCTV who were involved in smoking on the school site and therefore a fixed penalty fine of £50 has been imposed.”
She added: “The governors, as employers and owners of the property, have a duty to enforce this law and have the right to fine any person £50 for breaking the law.”
Parents today claimed the school had “ripped them off”. Mavis Lydon, a traffic warden whose 14-year-old daughter Marisha Hamilton was caught smoking, said: “There are other ways of punishing children, the school was out of order really. Detention or something like that would’ve been fine. It’s the children who have done wrong, why should the parents have to suffer for it?” Continue Reading….
I agree that what the Head of the school did was wrong and that the parents have a right to complain.
The girls should have just been given at least 2 weeks detention and the parents should have been been informed and shown the CCTV footage.
However Mavis seems more concerned about the £50.00 fine, and not especially bothered about her underage daughter Marisha’s smoking habit.
I wonder if Mavis even bothered to punish her daughter after being informed of the situation or did the shock £50 fine prove to be too much of a distraction?

Funny… I’ve always thought of Sade Adu as being a solo artist. I just found out today that Sade is in fact a group.

Sade have topped the US album chart with their comeback album Soldier Of Love.
The record, which was produced with longtime collaborator Mike Pela, sold 502,000 copies in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The group, fronted by Sade Adu, released last studio album Lovers Rock in November 2000. The record peaked at number three and sold 370,000 units in its first seven days.
Sade previously topped the Billboard 200 with 1986 album Promise.
Sade have sold over than 50 million records worldwide since forming in London in 1983.

According to down market tabloid rag The Sun, Jay-Z claims to have been impressed with boyband JLS’ performance at Tuesday’s Brit Awards ceremony.

“I liked JLS, I watched them do their show. They’re a good band and remind me of ‘N Sync, a band who do the boy band thing well.
“They put on a class performance and I think they will go on to be as big as ‘N Sync.”

American rapper Jay-Z got himself involved in a race row when bouncers at his party after the BRIT music awards here “banned” white people from drinking with the star.
The minders were spotted prohibiting clubbers including music industry executives, journalists and revellers from the private event because they were not “of colour”.
Jay Z’s bizarre ruling has left top black celebs like Oritse Williams and Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon, 31, fuming, reports mirror.co.uk.
“My friends have been getting knocked about and no one seems to care,” said Dixon.
“I need to get out of here. I’d rather be at my local kebab shop Elsie’s right now than back inside with all that aggression. What a horrible end to the night. I was having a blast at my record label party and now the mood is soured. I wish I’d never come,” she added.
Jay-Z was completely unaware of the situation after having a custom-built table laid on for him in a private corner, with bottles of his Armand de Brignac champagne, which cost 700 pounds each, being delivered by scantily-clad waitresses.
“This place is doing my head in so I need to get in my car and go home,” JLS’’s Oritse, 23, said.

I find this story hard to believe.
I bet a bunch of sad and disgruntled industry folk made up this story because they DESPERATELY wanted to bask in the mighty J-Hova’s presence but were instead refused entry in to the VIP area, including (and I quote) ”top black celebs” Alesha Dixon and JLS’ Oritse.
Whenever a huge US star comes over to “party” people here just lose their minds and act the fool.
I’m sorry but all I can do is laugh out loud at Alesha Dixon and JLS’ Oritse.

UPDATE: My girl Kaydine over at Social Writers Blog attended the bash and tells a different story!
As an attendee of the party, I believe this story to be full of rubbish. The club was ram packed and entry was allowed to only to those who were invited or given the ‘OK’ by club management. Alesha Dixon came in after I did with her friends, and everybody was getting pushed about, not just her friends as the Daily Star is making out. I also don’t believe Oritse’s quote has anything to do with this alleged ban of ‘white people’…..the VIP area, where the celebs were was super packed as loads of people stood on the other side of the velvet rope trying to find a way in.
It seems the Metro has failed to mention that Daniel Merriweather and The Sugababes were also in attendance, and have only listed black celebrities as in attendance, which is not true! It’s hardly unlikely that Jay-Z would make such a demand…….the table next to him was ‘bought’ by a group of Caucasians, and I spotted many ‘white people’ dancing the night away.
If there was a ban, how did they get in?

The “prestigious” Brit Awards took place last night and aired live on ITV 1.
The show was a complete shambles but host Peter Kay and his dead pan humour made me laugh out loud on several occasions.
The majority of the artists who appeared in front of the camera appeared to be “under the influence”.
Actor Idris Elba looked a mess when he galloped on stage, wearing dark shades which he then quickly removed, to present an award. He looked drunk and high.
Lilly Allen was completely off her face (well nothing new there) and I don’t even want to talk about Liam Gallagher (what a fool!).
Anyway Mad News would like to congratulate Dizzie Rascal for winning the Best British Male award. However I still don’t understand why the camera cut away from Dizzee during his acceptance speech and zoomed in on Jay-Z’s mug. What was that all about????
Congratulations also goes out to boyband/X-factor finalists JLS who took home two awards and that mad woman Lady Gaga (lol).
Highlights and Lowlights of the evening….
The “highly anticipated” performance from the “nation’s sweetheart”, “Saint” Cheryl Cole was a colossal joke. She can’t sing and mimed (the only artist to do so) – BADLY!!!
The convicted batterer of toilet attendants/”alleged” racist is currently going through a hard time. Yes….unfortunately footballer husband Ashley Cole has been accused of cheating on her with another woman AGAIN… amongst other things. But last night talentless Cheryl put on a brave face and performed “through the pain”.
My heart bleeds for you Cheryl…. it really does….
JLS’ performance was weak. I expected a lot more.
Lady Gaga is a strong live vocalist but she should of sang one of her well known tracks.
