Girlband The Sugababes are being sued by founder member Keisha Buchanan – who is trying to BAN the group from using their name.

Keisha, who formed the band in 1998, has launched a legal bid to claim a stake in the Sugababes brand – which she says has grown into a multi-million pound business over the past 12 years.

Keisha – who was forced to quit the chart-toppers last September – has now demanded that the current line-up of Heidi Range, Amelle Berrabah and Jade Ewen call themselves something else or pay her a one-off sum which could potentially be millions of pounds.

If her dramatic High Court action is successful, it could spell the end for the band, who are soon due to release their new album Sweet 7. Continue Reading….

Wow Keisha isn’t messing around.

Heidi and Amelle now spend their time in interviews crying and labelling former band mate Keisha “a bully”. But it’s not helping and the new Sugababes line up/look seems to be flopping. 

The last single release About A Girl failed to set the charts on fire and the re-recorded forthcoming album Sweet 7 stripped of Keisha’s original vocals, has ‘major fail’ written all over it.

I wish you the best of luck with this lawsuit Keisha.

Former Eastenders star Mohammed George

Former EastEnders star Mohammed George has revealed that he was removed from the show’s 25th anniversary party.  

On arriving at the party George, who played road sweeper Gus Smith, reportedly asked one of the show’s bosses why they hadn’t supported him when he was forced to leave the soap two years ago. The boss responded by having George removed from the party.  

He told the Daily Star: “I didn’t deserve to be treated that way. I had no choice but to leave again. She asked me how I was and, of course, I had to bring up everything that had happened.  

“I hadn’t seen her for two years. But she just said, ‘If you’re going to bring this up then you’d better leave’. There was no shouting, no abusive language and no threatening behaviour. Continue Reading…..  

I’m sorry but Mohammed you are a FOOL!  

I understand that you are still bitter about your character ( the docile/dumb road sweeper Gus who ran around the square looking like a runaway slave) being written out of the show, but turning up to the 25th anniversary party and then confronting one of the show’s bosses about your subsequent unemployment was just plain stupid.  

What made you think that she would be comfortable discussing the unfortunate events that took place two years ago with you on this happy occasion?    

You still being relatively angry, young, black and male was enough of a threat.  She automatically thought ‘trouble maker’ and that’s why you were removed from the party.  

If anything you should have used your head first and then used the occasion to slyly network! Who knows there might have been a casting director or TV executive from another show present who would have been willing to push some much needed TV work your way.  

MOVE ON!

A massive earthquake has hit central Chile and killed at least 214 people, the interior minister says.

The 8.8 quake caused widespread damage, destroying buildings, bridges and roads in many areas, including the capital where a chemical plant caught fire.

Electricity, water and phone lines have been cut. Hundreds of thousands of people are believed to be affected.

A controversial re-enactment of Michael Jackson’s death has been shown on US television.

VH1 show Famous Crime Scene used an uncanny Jacko lookalike for their chilling 30-minute programme, which aired at 9pm local time.

The re-enactment showed the doppelganger being given CPR – first on his bed and then on the floor – by an actor playing the singer’s alleged killer Dr Conrad Murray. Continue Reading…. and view more pics.

Production – It’s decent. I like the beat.

Image – UK male artists (rappers in particular) seriously need to develop close business relationships with fashion houses, stylists, barbers and nutritionists.

As for the video… Estelle sporting a black boot polish look, complete with bright red glossy lipstick……….. hmmmmm interesting……..

I’ve never paid much attention too Kardinal Offishall. Is he Canadian?

Global Radio’s Xfm will broadcast the world exclusive full playback of the brand new album from Gorillaz next week.

Plastic Beach is released on Monday 8th March but will have its first full airplay on Xfm on Tuesday 2nd March at 12pm, in an exclusive show presented by John Kennedy, joined by Gorillaz’ very own Murdoc Niccals.

Gorillaz band members Murdoc Nicalls, 2D, Noodle and Russel are set to repeat their phenomenal success with the release of Plastic Beach.
