I haven’t watched the film ‘Precious’ yet, so to those who have seen the film I want to know this, is Mariah’s performance in the film really that good???
Anyway the singer picked up the Breakthrough Performance award for her role as a social worker in the film, at the Palm Springs International Film Festival last night (January 5th).
Mariah was completely off her face…..
Peckham meets Atlanta folks!
UK rapper Giggs teams up with Atlanta based artist B.O.B and has produced the new track Don’t Go There.
The label (XL) is really pushing the ‘Giggs machine’ in 2010! Collaborating with US artists and his album Let Em Have It is apparently set to drop in April.
It’s all go!
I look forward to watching the MOBO Awards performance and hearing the speech…….
Anyway back to track! I like the beat and the hook.
As for the video… 1xtra’s Mista Jam describes it as being an “amazing video” via his blog’. I personally think that statement is slightly over the top.
Black and white shots of Peckham’s ‘famous’ hand car wash, shots of Giggs hanging outside the Peckham Pulse with moody looking crew members and shots of Atlanta… what’s so amazing about that???
Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?
A disabled woman was found covered in excrement and chained to a weight bench in what Wisconsin authorities said Tuesday was one of the most disturbing abuse cases they had ever encountered.
Sally Adams, 56, and her son, Ernest Claiborne, 34, were charged with keeping Adams’ 38-year-old daughter and Adams’ 2 1/2 -year-old grandson in vile conditions in their Kenosha home.
Adams and Claiborne were arrested Saturday after police discovered Adams’ daughter chained to exercise equipment, according to criminal complaints filed Monday in Kenosha County Circuit Court. The toddler was found in a filthy diaper strapped to a car seat in a small, darkened room, the filing said.
Both mother and son deserve to burn…….
