UK NEWS: ROCK BAND ARRESTED AT GUN POINT AFTER COUNCIL CCTV OFFICIAL MISTAKES MUSIC EQUIPMENT FOR HAND GUN
The Thirst
Brixton based rock band The Thirst has received an apology from the police force after a CCTV operator falsely informed them that the men had a handgun in their car.

A police force has apologised after 30 armed officers in a fleet of vehicles and a helicopter swooped on innocent band members as they prepared for a gig.
Staffordshire Police held four members of The Thirst at gunpoint, along with their manager and a friend – after a council CCTV operator falsely informed the force that the men had a handgun in their car.
Closer examination of the security footage showed the band – who have supported the Rolling Stones and the Sex Pistols – simply unloading their instruments and equipment and using jump leads to start one of their cars. Continue Reading….

It wouldn’t surprise me if the CCTV operator just called the police out of sheer wickedness, secretly hoping that those innocent men would be blasted to death.

Singer Susan Boyle has made UK Chart history and gone straight in at No.1.
The Britain’s Got Talent runner-up has sold 410,000 copies (first week) of her debut album I Dreamed A Dream.
Simon Cowell who is extremely happy and rubbing his hands together like Fagan from Oliver Twist said, he was proud of Boyle and added that the success could not have happened to a nicer person.
UK NEWS: THE DUCHESS OF CORNWALL ATTACKS ‘TERRIFYING’ MUSIC VIDEOS

The Duchess of Cornwall yesterday spoke for the first time about the way youngsters are sexualized by explicit rap videos.
Camilla was taking part in a discussion with victims of sexual violence during a visit to a rape crisis centre when the topic turned to how music videos affect teenagers today.
She told an audience of women that children thought they could get away with things because teachers failed to punish them.
Referring to the images children are exposed to, the Duchess said: ‘A lot of those videos are terrifying.
‘I am sure they trigger a response in some of the young people. I can never understand how they can get away with making those things.’

LMC in conjunction with Sleek Hair will be holding a last minute casting for models TOMORROW - FRIDAY 27TH NOVEMBER at Sleek’s head offices in London. Successful models will be asked to model at a photo shoot in the first week of December which will be used on Sleek’s packaging/advertising.
We are looking for 17 female models, 10 from a Black/Mixed background and 7 from a Caucasian background.

UK NEWS: SPEECH DEBELLE BOOED BY TAKE THAT FANS

Mercury winner Speech Debelle was booed by Take That fans as she tried to rap one of their songs at a London event in honour of the group.
The rapper was one of a host of stars performing at the launch of the SingStar Take That video game.
Debelle chose to rap her way through the 1993 hit single Pray, leading to boos from some of the 500-strong crowd.
She was also criticised by host James Corden, who said “anyone can rap”, before launching into a rap of his own. Continue Reading….
Oh dear…when attempting to do something different goes terribly wrong.
Why would she even attempt to rap her way through Pray? The thought of her up there rapping the line ‘All I do each night is pray’ just makes me cringe!
Earlier this week Speech announced that she was leaving her label Big Dada because of disappointing album sales.
UK TV: ‘DUMBED DOWN’ GMTV FACES AXE DUE TO POOR RATINGS

ITV could axe GMTV over its poor ratings after it today became the sole owner of the breakfast TV franchise.
The Coronation Street broadcaster already owns 75 per cent of the early morning TV show but has now bought the remaining stake from Disney for more than £22million.
Now that it has complete control it is expected ITV will scrap the brand and replace it with its own breakfast-style offering.
ITV executives have grown frustrated with GMTV’s poor ratings performance and the continued success of BBC.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they decided to axe the show. It has been going down hill for some time now and BBC Breakfast is a more informative show. It’s killing GMTV.
When regular visitor Ronke informed me this morning that a GMTV presenter was in the middle of interviewing a former Woolworths employee (who sat and talked about ‘life after Woolworths‘), I looked out in to the distance, shook my head and whispered ’it’s a wrap GMTV. It’s a wrap!’
