England star Jermain Defoe is suing the police, claiming he is the victim of a racist campaign.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker, 26, who was England’s hero in Holland on Wednesday, believes he is unfairly targeted by police when driving his Range Rover.
He was locked up last month after he was pulled over on suspicion of driving while disqualified when he was out in his top of the range car in Harlow, Essex.
He was held overnight until police checked with
Defoe’s lawyer, Nick Freeman, said: ‘He feels particularly aggrieved as he is stopped constantly. He feels like whenever there is a police car behind him he will be pulled over for a check.
‘It does not seem to happen to the white players, just the black ones.’
Mr Freeman, continued: ”I asked Jermain if he feels there is a racist element involved. He said he discussed it with black colleagues and they have similar experiences. He asked why white colleagues didn’t have similar experiences. Every time he is in his Range Rover he gets pulled over and he does not know why.’ Continue Reading…

You had to discuss the situation with your black/white colleagues to confirm what you should already know, that the reason why the police stop you all the time is because you’re a black man driving an expensive vehicle.

A stuttering Nigerian man, who says he can’t find a girlfriend, has announced that he plans to marry his pillow instead.
Okeke Ikechuku told the Daily Metro that his stammer makes it difficult for him to speak to girls who laugh at him whenever he talks, Ananova reports.
But, the 26-year-old from Lagos admits that he has needs and wants a companion to sleep with. So, Ikechuku says he will marry his pillow because he has been sleeping with it since he was 16 and has fallen in love with it.
The laborer added that, unlike a woman, the pillow would cost him little or nothing to maintain. He says he plans to spend the rest of his life with it.

Supermarket chain Tescos have announced that they will now stock extra large Durex Condoms, which will cater to the well endowed man.
The new extra-large condoms are 10mm longer and 1mm wider than the average and will go on sale in Tesco branches across the UK from tomorrow.
Average condoms are 205mm (8in) in length – with the new range clocking in at 215mm (8.5in).
The condoms will cost £9.53 for a packet of 12 and will be sold exclusively at 400 Tesco stores.
