Queen Latifah (real name Dana Owens) has revealed that she was a victim of sexual abuse as a child.

Owens confessed that a male babysitter took advantage of her when she was young.

“He violated me. I never told anybody. I just buried it as deeply as I could and kept people at an arm’s length,” she told Essence.

The star also admitted that her troubled past has caused problems in her relationships as a result.

“I never really let a person get too close to me. I could have been married years ago, but I had a commitment issue,” she added.

Police wodeere today hunting a rapist who attacked a teenager after dropping down from the ceiling of a nightclub toilet.

The suspect, named by police as Adebayo Omokayode Awosabya, 41, had been lurking in roof space at the Amika nightclub in Kensington.

He watched through a grille until the 19-year-old victim entered the toilet cubicle, before leaping down on top of her and tearing off her clothes. He told the girl: “It’s OK,” before sexually assaulting her.

A source said: “What happened was like something out of a horror movie.”

Today while on Twitter I came across some hilarious twits from Radio 1 Hip Hop personality, Tim ‘Big Dawg’ Westwood.

Singer Ciara is currently in the country touring with Britney Spears and for some unknown reason asked Tim to take her to her favourite store, Top Shop.

But Tim, who I’m guessing suffers sleepless nights worrying about his own financial security, the state of our economy and the recession had other ideas….

just brought Ciara 7 pairs of shoes, 10 dresses, 3 bags and matching accessories – spent £112. Is that enuff to guarantee a jump-off?

I have never understood why women go wild over Top Shop. I have walked in to that store on numerous occasions and walked straight back out empty handed, because I never see anything in there that’s worth purchasing. 

Give me cheap Primark over extortionate Top Shop any day of the week!

But having said that Primark’s items seem to have gone up in price.  7 pairs of shoes, 10 dresses, 3 bags and matching accessories all came up to the grand total of £112. I remember when Primark first opened it’s doors. Back then you could purchase all those items for just under £100.00.

Anyway Tim as well as also wanting to treat Ciara to a spree in Matalan, you might also want to try Peacocks.

Singer T-Pain posted photographs of his RIDICULOUS new chain last night on Twitter, and then defended his latest acquisition by telling the “haters”…

Let’s celebrate the fact a black man can have things like this and still care for 3 kids and wife in a $6 million house with 32 cars. Oldest child 5 and already got 4 million in her own account. I don’t do dumb sh*t like this till I know the fams good. so don’t judge me from what I buy. Judge me from what I do. Cuz it’s so many artists that put themself before their family.

Why did he feel it necessary to disclose to the world the amount of money his 5 year old has in her bank account, the cost of his home, and the number of cars he owns?

Was this information supposed to put  those of us who have common sense to shame?

Do you see billionaires Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Richard Branson behaving like this? Wasting their earnings on gaudy pieces of jewellery and bragging about their wealth and possessions?

I cannot believe that T-Pain walked in to a jewellers and asked them to make that FOOLISHNESS! 

I am betting that as soon as his back was turned the jeweller turned to an assistant, laughed and whispered “that dumb nigger has more money then sense”.

With the money that he supposedly spent on that chain he could have given it to his children or purchased another property.

People like T-Pain have no sense whatsoever. The man is an idiot! 

There is NOTHING to celebrate here!

I am a huge Hollyoaks fan but I’m going to have to be brutally honest here….

Most of us who watch Hollyoaks should know by now that they don’t cast based on acting ability.  It’s all about the ”VISUALS”.

The casting director/producers already know who they want and who they DON’T want.

So let’s not waste time or beat around the bush here.

If you’re an attractive black British female, and of a dark skinned complexion then the chances of you becoming the “new face” of Hollyoaks are pretty slim. 

If you’re an attractive black British female and of a light brown skin complexion, then there is a slight possibility that you might be considered for this role, but not seriously.

If you’re attractive and of mixed-race origin with strong European features, then you stand about an 80% chance of winning this role, because on British TV this is nearly always the acceptable face used to portray black British women.  Just ask Angela Griffin. 

If you’re attractive, Caucasian and brunette with dark eyes, then you stand about a 95% chance of winning this role.

If you’re attractive, Caucasian and blond then you don’t need to utter a single word during your audition. Congratulations! Welcome to Hollyoaks!
