10 year old Natalie Okri appeared on Britain’s Got Talent this past Saturday and as expected blew the audience and judges away with her rendition of the Alicia Key’s hit single No One.
Natalie is a cute little girl who has a decent singing voice for a 10 year old.
Check her out.
To be honest I’m not really a fan of Britain’s Got Talent and think that judge (former Daily Mirror Editor-In-Chief) Piers Morgan is wasted on this show.
I have read all of his books (The best being The Insider: The Private Diaries of A Scandalous Decade -It’s a brilliant read). He is an intelligent and charismatic character, so whenever I see him sitting there on the panel judging a bunch of talentless “eccentrics” I think ‘Why Piers???’
OK I understand that he is being paid a lot of money to just sit for hours judging terrible acts and to give the thumbs up to mediocrity, but it must be mind numbingly dull at times.
Anyway I’m sure that by now Alicia has watched Natalie’s rendition of No One. I look forward to the up and coming collaboration.

“because what we have is so precious.”
Producer Swizz Beatz ( who is still married to singer Mashonda and they are currently going through a bitter divorce) finally admits to the NY Daily News that he and Alicia Keys are lovers and explains why they opted to keep their relationship a secret for so long).
Somebody pass the sick bag please!
This will all end in tears. Mashonda will attempt to destroy this relationship and will most likely succeed. Then you will hear that Swizz has dumped Alicia and reunited with his wife and child.

Police have defended their use of a controversial form that requires live music venues to hand over details of performers, promoters and fans.
Form 696 has helped cut shootings and stabbings in and around London gig venues, the Metropolitan Police said.
The Met introduced the risk assessment form to identify gigs where trouble might flare up, partly in response to black-on-black shootings.
But it has been criticised for being heavy-handed and racially motivated.
The Met said the form had “played its part” in an 11% drop in serious violence in licensed premises in 2008.
Thomas Bowen, head of the Met team that deals with Form 696, said: “A co-ordinated effort, and 696 assisting the process of identifying potential gang conflict, is undoubtedly contributing towards that reduction of shooting incidents in licensed premises.” Continue Reading
If people knew how to behave themselves and stopped to think before acting the damn fool, then this would not be an issue now.

Jordan with mother Mia

Twin brother Justin
Justin and Jordan Washington were born seven minutes apart but are only half-brothers after a one-in-a-million biological coincidence exposed their mother’s affair.
Mia Washington (20) conceived by boyfriend James Harrison – but at the same time a second egg was fertilised by an unnamed man with whom she had a fling.
A very unique way of exposing a slapper
lol..smh.
And guess what folks she’s is pregnant again!
Congratulations Mia and James ( that’s if you are in fact the father).

In my opinion Michelle Obama is an attractive woman but I understand what Iman is trying to say.
The cheesy and very camp annual Eurovision Song Contest took place last night in Russia’s capital, Moscow.
Norway’s Alexander Rybak won and smashed the record on points awarded during the competition, while Britain’s Jade Ewen came in fifth.
Jade’s song It’s My Time was written by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and he played the piano during her performance.
I thought her performance was really good (even though she went slightly off key towards the end), and had my fingers crossed, hoping that she would win.
The audience loved the song and the presence of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber was bound to swing it for her, but sadly I was wrong.
Jade Ewen – It’s My Time (British Entry)
Alexander Rybak – Fairytale (Eurovision Winner 2009)
I don’t really understand why Norway won the competition. This was far from being the best song!
And lastly host country Russia’s Eurovision entry, which just sounded depressing (I want to run in to the bathroon to slit my wrists depressing) and the singer frightened me.

Aristocrat Thomas Cholmondeley

A court has sentenced a descendant of Kenya’s most famous white settlers to eight months in prison for the manslaughter of a black man on his vast estate.
Thomas Cholmondeley was convicted of manslaughter last week over the 2006 shooting of a 37-year-old black poacher Robert Njoya. Manslaughter carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment in Kenya.
Correspondents say the case has touched on deep sensibilities in Kenya, where white people took vast swathes of the best agricultural land during British colonial rule until 1963, before the new Kenyan elite did exactly the same.
The case has inflamed old tensions over land, race and privilege in the east African nation. Continue Reading/View Video Footage…..
Cholmondeley was simply following the long standing tradition of punishing the “savages” severely when they dared to step out of line.
I wonder how many black folks his descendants chased down, wounded and killed during the good old days of British Colonial rule.
Ahhh fun times…..
Rest In Peace Robert Njoya.
