The first ever live semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent took place last night (May 24th) on ITV 1.

Susan Boyle (no surprise here) and dance troupe Diversity have both made it to the final.

10 year old singer Natalie Okri lost out to Diversity, burst in to tears and then was more or less pushed off the stage to make way for the finalists.

I can see this film cleaning up at the 2010 Oscars.

UK Rapper Professor Green was savagely attacked in the early hours of Saturday morning (May 23rd).

During an altercation in a night club the East London born rapper was stabbed in the neck with a broken bottle.

Green is currently in hospital recovering from his injuries.

Last night he posted the following on his Twitter page… 

Surgery took an hour longer than it was meant to. The stabbing brushed on all major arteries but damaged none. Very lucky to be alive. Very.

Several days ago UK rapper/BET Best UK Hip Hop winner Giggs crossed my mind.

I wondered what had happened to him because all had gone quiet on the music front, and I hadn’t received any more emails attacking me for not being one of his biggest supporters.

But then the new track ‘Slow Songs’ featuring The Streets was brought to my attention [Thanks Melissa].

Mike Skinner (The Streets) also produced the track, which will officially drop later on in the year.

I actually like the beat.

Jack Tweed is reportedly hoping to land a career as a television presenter after leaving prison.

The 21-year-old, who was convicted of assaulting a taxi driver earlier this year, is currently serving a 12-week sentence at the Edmunds Hill jail in Suffolk.

Speaking to The Sun, a representative for Tweed said: “We are talking to producers about half a dozen projects for Jack. Nothing’s been signed off yet, but there are some good ideas being discussed.”

An unnamed friend of Tweed added that he is “very interested in presenting things” or “doing stuff involving DJing and clubbing”, but is also hoping to take on projects in honour of his late wife Jade Goody.

The source continued: “For obvious reasons Jack’s profile is pretty huge so he’s looking at how to make the most of that. He’s had a horrendous time recently so is desperate to get his life back on track.”

The producers who allegedly have “half a dozen projects for Jack’ deserve to be fired!  

Who really wants to watch a show where the main focus is trouble maker and dumb arse Jack Tweed???

I hope this never happens. He needs to just disappear!
