What was running through this idiot’s mind???  He should have been the one to die.

A Manchester United football fan in south-eastern Nigeria drove a minibus into a crowd of Barcelona supporters, killing four people, police say.

Ten other people were wounded in the incident in Ogbo town, after United lost Wednesday’s European Champions League Final 2-0 to the Spanish team.

A police spokeswoman told Reuters news agency: “The driver passed the crowd, then made a U-turn and ran into them.” Continue Reading….

For goodness sake it’s only a game.

Do you all see how football can turn a man fool!

Can u imagine? An african killing and fighting over european sports? It’s amazing how obsessed people are over these clubs. Some companies even promote their products by giving away tickets to games here. Why???? Bizzare
I even think they were more of arsenal and chelsea or liverpool supporters. Its weird even saying that. R.I.P, but there’s no need for this obsession.

Goes to show the priorities many have in Nigeria. In a society plagued by poverty, fear and a harrowing way of life, some continue to idolize things outside thier sphere. What has he achieved — 4 mourning families, a waste of resources for the injured and thiers, trouble for his own family and a shattered future for himself. And how do these change the price of fish for BARCA or MAN FCs?

It’s not only in Nigeria, I would guess most of Africa, where i come from, bloody crazy. Even the local football has nearly collapsed because of the increased coverage of the english league. It’s Bizzare. Ok, i can understand they might want to watch their african players succeed some of them, but the hype that has been built around it is really crazy. Really Bizzare.
