A toddler has married a dog in a bid to protect him from being killed by a tiger.
The 18-month-old child, Sangula Munda, wed the dog at a Hindu temple in India on the orders of his superstitious parents.
They were worried that a tooth growing from his upper gum was an omen he would be killed by a tiger.
The weird wedding ceremony was seen as the best symbolic way to avoid such a fate, according to tribal elders in the Jajpur district village.
The bridal dog reportedly wore two silver rings and a silver chain.
According to the boy’s father Sanrumula Munda, Sangula will still be able to marry properly when older.

90s R&B star Montell Jordan attended Tyler Perry’s ‘Madea Goes To Jail’ film premiere on Monday night (Feb 16th) in Atlanta, Georgia.
I was never a Montell Jordan fan. I found his music bland and boring.
But I am curious to know what he is doing now. Does he still make music? is he touring?
Montell and Adina Howard (remember Miss ’Freak Like Me’) just disappeared in to obscurity post 1996.

Jade Goody has secured deals with a magazine and TV station ahead of her wedding to Jack Tweed this weekend, her publicist Max Clifford has confirmed.
OK! magazine has bought exclusive rights to Sunday’s ceremony for £700,000 and Living TV have paid £100,000 to broadcast it.
Clifford said that after the wedding there “won’t be more episodes of the series they have been filming”.
Terminally ill Goody has decided to use the media to raise funds for her sons.

One of pop superstar Michael Jackson’s brothers, Marlon, is involved in a controversial plan to develop a $3.4bn (£2.4bn) slavery memorial and luxury resort in Badagry, Nigeria.
The historic slave port is to be transformed through the bizarre combination of a slave history theme park and a museum dedicated to double Grammy-winning pop-soul group the Jackson Five.
The idea is that the band will help attract African-American tourists keen to trace their roots back to Nigeria.
The men behind the plan say it will honour the history of the transatlantic slave trade and provide employment opportunities for Nigerians.
But the plan has been condemned by Nigerian commentators.
The African-American history trail is worth billions of dollars, the developers say.
Ghana and Senegal have successfully turned slave ports into tourist attractions.
The developers say the Badagry Historical Resort will be marketed to African-American tourists as a mixture of luxury tourist attractions and historical education.
Visitors will be able to see the route their ancestors walked, shackled together as they were whipped toward the “point of no return”.
They can then retire to their five-star hotel to drink cocktails by the pool.

Are we REALLY expected to believe that connecting the defunct Jackson Five to this venture will attract African-American tourists, who are keen to trace their roots back to Nigeria?

The teenage boy who became a father at 13 will get the DNA test he has demanded, it has been confirmed.
Publicist Max Clifford has taken over dealing with Alfie Patten’s media relations since baby Maisie was born to girlfriend Chantelle Steadman, 15.
Clifford told Sky News Online: “There will be a DNA test, I think so.”
The family has dominated headlines since the news first emerged at the end of last week.
But over the weekend, more young teenage boys came forward, claiming they could be baby Maisie’s father.
Alfie, from East Sussex, has already pledged to be a “good dad… and care for it”. The claims he might not be Maisie’s biological father seem to have made the teenager more determined to prove his case.
“Publicist Max Clifford has taken over dealing with Alfie Patten’s media relations since baby Maisie was born to girlfriend Chantelle Steadman, 15.”
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry… (shaking head).
I just hope for little Alfie’s sake the DNA test proves him NOT to be the father.

Terminally ill reality TV star Jade Goody is planning to marry her current boyfriend Jack Tweed, who proposed to her in hospital on Friday.
Goody’s publicist Max Clifford has also revealed that Harrods owner Mohamed Al Fayed had given Goody a dress as “a wedding present” and that singer Elton John had offered the use of one of his homes as a venue.
Goody was diagnosed with having cervical cancer in October 2008.

Presumably Mohamed and Elton will both continue to show this same level of generosity to each of the 1000 other women who die from cervical cancer each year in the UK? I assume that their generosity isn’t only restricted to celebs?
