UK NEWS: POLITICIAN KEEN TO PROMOTE TINCHY STRYDER’S MUSIC CAREER

By day Norman Lamb walks the corridors of Westminster; by night he becomes an impresario of grime, a form of urban music sweeping the UK.
The Lib Dem health spokesman has become involved in the career of up-and-coming artist Tinchy Stryder, who works for his son’s recording company.
Mr Lamb, MP for North Norfolk, attends gigs, has offered his car for lifts and even invested £10,000.
He told the BBC that he and his wife were “living the grime scene”.
Mr Lamb’s son Archie, and his friend Jack Foster, left school half-way through sixth-form to set up a recording label Takaover Entertainment.
Soon afterwards, the MP remortgaged his house to give them a £10,000 business loan.
Last year Archie and Jack’s company managed to get Tinchy Stryder – real name Kwasi Danquah – onto BBC Radio 1′s playlist.
And the 22-year-old’s latest song, Take Me Back, got to number three in the UK charts earlier this month.
Mr Lamb said: “We’ve sort of followed the thing as it happens. We’ve had lots of discussions about whether one track or another should be released.”
This is hilarious!!!!
But Tinchy is enjoying some mainstream success at the moment so kudos to them.
Admittedly I don’t think I’ve even heard Tinchy’s top 5 hit single ‘Take Me Back’, but congratulations anyway.

Yet another individual who gets under my skin, and who permanently has his head stuck up his backside.
Mogul Russell “fact finder/Mr I think I’m an authority on everything” Simmons called a press conference today (Jan 28th) to announce that he has appointed himself Editor-In-Chief of his website Globalgrind.com.
As usual, he felt it was necessary to create some form of fan fare by calling a press conference, flanked by famous faces, in a bid to generate interest in his latest endeavour!
Russell just loves to call a press conference. I bet if he could the man would probably call a press conference (with celebrity friends/family in tow), to announce that he had just performed a bowel movement.

According to WireImage, several nights ago Damon Dash and Noel Ashman (never heard of the man) hosted a party for non entity Daisy Lowe in New York City.
Is this what it’s come to Dame??? Hanging out and hosting birthday parties for the likes of Daisy Lowe?
Well…. I guess if it helps to maintain your ’baller’ lifestyle and helps to keep one foot in the heady world of entertainment…..
For those who are not so familiar with Miss Lowe, she is an annoying D-list British ‘celeb’, who spends her nights out clubbin and models part time. She also used to date an over rated Mark Ronson.
Her mother Pearl Lowe fronted a rock/indie band back in the 90s and used to run with the “IT crowd – the Primrose Hill posse”. She was also once friend’s with Kate Moss and is a former heroin/cocaine abuser.
Anyway this is bascially how Daisy’s managed to claim D-list status and a few column inches here in the UK.

UK NEWS: SUPERSTAR FOOTBALLER ROBINHO HELD OVER ‘SEX ASSAULT’

Manchester City forward Robinho has been arrested by police investigating an allegation of sexual assault.
The Brazilian international, 25, met police as part of a “criminal investigation” into the alleged attack at a nightclub in Leeds.
Robinho “strenuously denied any allegation of wrongdoing” and had been released on bail, his spokesman said.
West Yorkshire Police said a man had been arrested on Tuesday in connection with an alleged incident on 14 January.
Robinho’s spokesman, Chris Nathaniel, said: “[Robinho] strenuously denies any allegation of wrongdoing or criminality and is happy to co-operate with the police if further required.” Continue Reading…
