L’OREAL DENIES LIGHTENING BEYONCE’S SKIN IN NEW AD CAMPAIGN
L’Oreal have released a statement to Fox News, denying accusations of lightening Beyonce’s skin tone in their latest ad campaign.
Read statement below…
“It is categorically untrue that L’Oréal Paris altered Ms. Knowles’ features or skin-tone in the campaign for Feria hair color,” the rep said in a statement.
“Beyonce Knowles has been a spokesperson for the L’Oréal Paris brand since 2001. We highly value our relationship with Ms. Knowles.”
Well, well, well, It didn’t take them long to release a statement! Ah the power of us black bloggers and our loyal visitors LOL!!!
Hmmmmm Beyonce promoting hair colour….do they dye her lace front for the Feria hair colour campaigns?
Anyway, so what do you all think? Is L’oreal telling the truth?
USHER REHIRES MOTHER AS HIS MANAGER
It’s now official that R&B singer Usher has rehired his mother, Jonetta Patton, as his manager.
As the ‘New York Daily News’ speculated on July 7, Usher has officially ended his business relationship with Benny Medina and replaced him with his mother.

I think that this is probably a wise move on Usher’s part. So far thing’s just don’t seem to be working out for him this time around. And people seem to be obessed with Usher’s choice in wife – and not in a good way! GET A GRIP PEOPLE!!!
Plus Benny Medina, although hugely successful at what he does, the man comes across as being one big A-hole of a DIVA, and he isn’t even the talent.
*Little known fact: When Medina used to manage Jennifer Lopez’s career, he was in fact the one who used to make all those ridiculous demands in her name. E.g. Jennifer insists you repaint her dressing room white, Jennifer insists on only having cotton sheets etc etc etc etc.*
UK NEWS: TEENAGER SHOT DEAD IN CROSS FIRE
A teenager shot dead in a supermarket was an innocent bystander caught in crossfire, police have said.
The 18-year-old was killed in the Costcutter store in Walworth, south-east London on Wednesday night.
Officers said he was with family members when he was shot as two men tried to force their way past him while trying to get away from someone.
About five men were then seen to leave the area on mopeds. A 19-year-old man has been arrested.
The 18-year-old victim is the 22nd teenager to die in a shooting or stabbing incident this year.
Detectives from Operation Trident, which tackles gun crime in London’s black community, said they knew the victim’s identity but were waiting to inform all his next of kin. Continue Reading…
