PRODUCER STATIC MAJOR PASSES AWAY
It’s been reported that producer Static Major (real name Stephen Garrett) died yesterday in Louisville, Kentucky.
At the start of his musical career Static was a member of Swing Mob (Jodeci star Devante’s creation) and formed close ties with former members, Missy Elliott, Timbaland, and Ginuwine.
Static’s most successful work was for Aaliyah, whose single “Try Again” was a worldwide smash. He also worked with R&B group Pretty Ricky, Mary J Blige and recently collaborated with Lil Wayne on the track ‘I Got Mine’.
The cause of death has yet to be determined.

According to Sandra Rose things turned violent at a private listening party held for Ross Ross last night in Atlanta, when the police/security got a little over excited and started man handling industry folk.
What did that industry professional do to receive such treatment at a PRIVATE/INVITATION ONLY event???
