Bill Cosby – a staunch critic of some rap music – is set to release a Hip-Hop album called State of Emergency, which will be a sanitized, issue-oriented CD. Sources told AllHipHop.com that the actor, comedian and philanthropist will address issues like proper parenting, teen pregnancy, drug abuse, Black-on-Black crime and the dropout rate in America’s high schools. Cosby’s album will not contain any profane language, nor will it offer any denigrating comments towards women. Yes that’s right. He still refuses to leave the rap game a lone. He still wants to drop albums. He still feels like he’s got something to prove.
What’s left for Jay to say?

According to a representative Jay will NOT be releasing a new album.
Now this has become a pattern with Jay. He gets his cronies to leak information (e.g. stepping down as Def Jam President), causes a stir, then promptly denies the stories.
Then weeks/months down the line instructs his publicist to release a statement informing us, the little people, that the stories he denied several weeks/months ago were in fact TRUE!
Don’t be surprised if by next month its confirmed by the aging rapper that he will be dropping a new album called ’The Blueprint 3′ in the summer.
NEW UK ARTIST: DAVID JORDAN – IS HE BRITAIN’S ANSWER TO JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE?
This morning I came across new ”British singing sensation” David Jordan on early morning breakfast show, GMTV.
Presenter, Andrew Castle, introduced David as being ”Britain’s answer to Justin Timberlake” and my response to that was ‘whatever Andrew!!!’. If any thing he would probably just be the poor man’s Justin Timberlake, just like Mystique were the poor man’s Destiny’s Child and Billie was the poor man’s Britney Spears.
But I stopped what I was doing and watched David’s performance…..
Now as I watched - CRINGING, because at one point during an incredibly ‘camp’ performance, David insisted on dropping the odd, slightly revised Michael Jackson move, mixed in with a little Prince (accept not as sexy) and Terence Trent D’Arby (remember him folks), and even attempted to seductively rub his private parts…. (shaking head)
David’s ’Alternative’ sound, theatrics, peculiar dancing, black nail polish, style of dress and campness, just left me thinking ‘how can he be Britain’s answer to Timberlake? Which label publicist came up with that foolishness and then passed it on to Andrew, so he could then go on to repeat a blatant lie to the nation?
And is this the type of ‘style/vibe’ black British male artists are going to have to adopt from now on, just to get a deal and a spot on breakfast television?
Lord knows nothing else seems to be working for them at this present time…….

JAMIE FOXX JUMPS ON THE ‘REALITY’ SHOW BANDWAGON….
Oscar winning actor Jamie Foxx will appear in the MTV ‘reality’ show ‘From G’s to Gents’.
Foxx explained that…..
“From G’s to Gents” will take 15 young “G’s” and polish them up. Taking lessons in everything from Style and Grace, Etiquette, Chivalry, and Business Skills, the men will LEARN that with the right tools every G has the ability to be a true Gentleman – and a real shot at finding success.”
Great! This is all we need to see – a bunch of black males acting the damn fool for the camera. You just know that the producers are currently out there scouting for the lowest common dominators to appear on this show. Probably the same producers who find idiot females for ’Flavor In Love’.
TOO BLACK FOR THE CAMERA!
Which reality-show clogged network had to change its casting procedures after a racist internal policy was leaked? Producers had an informal ban on considering cast members who were “too black.” They claimed it was because darker skin tones were hard to pick up on camera.

he did not let his children listen to the song Souljah boy because of the words and the meaning of Superman. With that information I needed to find out exactly what superman meant other then the super hero.
I google searched Urban dictionary and put the word in and this is what I discovered:
Superman is when a guy ejaculates on a girl’s back and puts a sheet on her back.

When I think of the number of young children who still get excited everytime this track is played and sing along to every single word, my blood boils. And come to think about it the line ”superman that hoe” sounded so off, how come none of us (particulary parents) never called him out earlier?
They really did succeed in brainwashing us in to thinking that this was just a harmless, fun track aimed at the kids….. (shaking head…)
…I should have paid more attention…….
Souljah Boy and Collie Park both deserve to burn for this!
